Ambrosia Wine Class and Sale:
Wines for the Holidays and "Glass Class"
Taste six wines and learn about the importance of using the right glass at Ambrosia's Wine Tasting, Sale and Glass Class on Wednesday December 7 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Just in time for holiday parties and gift-giving. we will taste six domestic and imported wines from the portfolio of Vehrs Distributing, including:
- Martin Ray Chardonnay "Santa Cruz Mountains" California 2014
- Fess Parker "Ashley's" Chardonnay, Santa Rita Hills, California 2015
- Ziliken Riesling Saarburger Rausch Vineyards Estate, Germany 2014
- Mayasara "Jamsheed" Pinot Noir, McMinnville, Oregon 2010
Jeff Philpot of Vehrs Distributing is very knowledgeable about wines and is also the Riedel Crystal Glassware representative. He will demonstrate how the shape of the glass effects the taste of the wine. Attendees will choose from six different wine glasses to taste for themselves how the glass changes the taste of the wine.
The event includes a taste of all six wines and small plates to compliment the wines prepared by Ambrosia's inimitable kitchen staff. The cost is $30 per person and space is limited to 26 people. Make your prepaid reservations by calling Ambrosia at 541-342-4141. You’ll receive a 10% discount when you purchase 12 bottles or more at the event.
