Ambrosia's First Wednesday "All Italian" Wine Tasting & Sale

Treat yourself to some uncommon and outstanding Italian wines at Ambrosia's second Wine Tasting and Sale of the year on Wednesday, March 7, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. We will have 10 exciting wines from the portfolio of Small Vineyards Imports. Our favorite "Wine Guy", Tom Kelly, will be there to talk about wine with the passion and enthusiasm that we all are familiar with. Through his many trips to Italy, Tom has established personal relationships with small wineries and wine makers, and is able to get these wonderful wines for very reasonable prices, which are reflected in this tasting.

There are two jewels in this tasting:
- Amarone Della Valpolicella, 2008 Guiseppe Leonardi, Veneto, $60.
- Brunello Di Montalcino, 2004 A. Singuineti, $50.

Other great wines are:
- Barbera d'Alba, 2008 Tre Donne, $23.
- Salice Salantino, 2009, $16.
- Chianti Classico, 2006 Podere Cionna, $29. 

Amy Paul also will be there to help with pouring and to answer questions regarding wines. And, there will live music. A taste of all 10 wines and light appetizers costs $25 per person of which $5 will be credited toward wine purchases made that day. There will be 10% discount on purchases of 12 bottles or more.
